"Perpetual Plover" - My 500th deviation :) If someone would like this as an avatar drop me a note and I'll resize it for them

I did get some notes with various suggestions for my 500th deviation including a self portrait. I finally decided to post this sequence of 14 images taken at 8.5fps taken today as I prefer to let my images speak for themselves lol Posting a self portrait will also lose me alot of watchers

It is a 500px image and 1Mb in size so it does take awhile to download to play correctly. Please feel free to download it.

Disappointly I've noticed it doesn't appear to loop in dA as it is set up to do. To correct this right click on the image select loop and then select play :(

It does show the benefits of manual exposure and a solid tripod. The background just doesn't move and the constant exposure is clearly seen :)

btw The Plover won the Tug of War

I loaded the sequence into ImageReady which comes with Photoshop CS2 and exported the sequence as a flash file. Very simple to do and quick :) There are alot of alternative animation programmes that will do the same job

Incredible shots! If I hadn't read the description, I would have sworn that it was taken with a video camera.

 Congrats on 500!
