Just water

Canon 40D and 100mm macro lens
2 x 580Ex flash guns used for illumination
1/20 sec@ f11 iso 100

Water droplets delivered via a Stopshot controlled solenoid valve. Camera and flashes triggered by a IR beam and StopShot programmable trigger.

580Ex @ 1/64 with snoot on the right aimed at the background with lilac gel.
580Ex @ 1/64 with snoot and red gel aimed at the droplets from the left.

Getting bored of them yet? :)
