looks like part-macro part scanning elctron microscope to me! Amazing detail. It's funny how small-scale Nature is...as well as being tremendously large-scale too. It's like, if you take a picture of a crane fly, and enlarge it loads and loads, it just gets grainier and grainier. But if you take a real crane fly and enlarge it loads you just see more and more detail...
