Captured on a Canon 7D shooting 20 second exposures, the 'smoke' from the dying Geminid meteor dispersed over a period of 4 minutes. The initial meteor trail was at 02:11 UTC on 13/12/12.

I'm really pleased to capture this after shooting with two cameras for 4 hours in -5c temperatures
