there are so many good things about this photo.
i love the golden color of the sky. you don't usually see a star field photo at sunset.
the reflection on the water of the lower bright star/planet adds a lot of intensity.
i especially love the artifact created by the condensation on the lens. indeed it was that that initially caught my eye. i'm assuming it was created by the sun as it's setting.

My condensation shots certainly haven't turned out with such lovely results.... great capture... the stars are so bright and clear.... how long of a capture was this?

it's a single frame on a 5D MkII and 24mm f1.4 lens. The exposure was 30 seconds @ f2.8 iso 1600

so is the orange 'cast' sky pollution or just sunrise and for some reason the location has stars in the sky ?
