Experimenting with correcting the distortion that a Sigma 4.5mm fisheye lens makes. Not something I plan on doing everyday :)

Well done on the correction. Can't you save the correction as a action or preset and just use it again and again on any other photo?

You can save the settings used but imo that's just like use Auto exposure on a camera. Every image needs different processing to get the best out of it and the same applies to multiple exposure shots.

Wouldn't the distortion be exactly the same on every exposure though, hence programs like DxO? Forgive my ignorance! ;)

For a specific lens the distortions would be identical which is why a lot of people use DxO to correct lens distortions. Changing the focal length will impact on perspective and the visual compression of the background to foreground.

I personally like the flatness, it makes it look painted and that adds to the surreality of the scene. The tones give it that "suspended in time" look. But there would be no dinosaurs because there was no grass when dinos were around. :)
