@00:58Kinda reminds me of those Aardman Animations with plastercene. I am expecting Grommit to walk in at any minute. :)

Great stuff.

BTW - have I ever mentioned you are a saint. You must be with that level of patience. :D

300 frames of the 0.3 seconds life cycle of a water droplet. 1 millisecond intervals between frames

First attempt at anything relating to film and stop motion animation.

Canon 1D MkII N and 100mm macro lens. A laser beam trigger and digital delay circuit were used to get the timing accurate enough.

@00:58This is great! awesome

Sort of confused though because the Canon EOS 1D only shoots at 8-10 fps (the 1D MkIII is 10 frames per second), and this was shot at 1000 fps. :confused:

but hey I don't really know much so I'm probably just confusing myself even more.. haha

@00:58I found this very interesting but I would have enjoyed it more had I been able to discern when the drops were going up and when they were going down. Would it be possible to do nearly the same but with five or ten times as many frames?

@00:58The answer to the question is yes :) I would have to reduce the time interval down to 0.1 millisecond and shoot 3,000 individual images to make it. So although the answer is yes the probability of me doing it is zero lol
